Connor turns his head away from the book and to the side to look at Daniel. It becomes immediately apparent how close their faces are to one another now that he isn't focused on the book. There is a moment of silence where Connor considers his surprise at how easily they disregarded personal space in favor of both being within the realm of intimate space. Then, being comfortable with it.
