...how does he keep ending up in this goddamn city?
He's not even supposed to be here, or he'd prefer not to be, given the possibility of being discovered or identified. It's been years since the Tojo clan held Kamurocho at this point (a fact that is frankly still jarring, even now) and just about everyone thinks he's dead. He'd probably be assumed to be some sort of poser or fan boy of himself if anyone did identify the look.
He's hoping to get the business he has done quickly and quietly; it's just a jaunt down a few streets and into the alley to get to Kamiyama Works so he can get his weapons repaired (and maybe see if he has a few more interesting things to pick up, he has the money) when he notices the group heading his way.
He's not saying they're Triad. But they sure as shit look like Triad, judging by the weapons he can spot and, well, the general proximity to Little Asia certainly doesn't hurt. He tries to get a look at the man in them middle of the configuration, the leader (obviously) and he just happens to find a 'hole' in the ranks as the man looks up from his phone.
Which is when it happens. Which is when the world changes, rolling from the man out to cover the whole rest of the world, the whole rest of everything, and if he thought Kamurocho was visually loud and bright and overwhelming before, it's an entirely different thing, an entirely greater thing, once the whole thing is served up in glaring, blaring, neon color.
Starting with a certain someone's bright pink suit.

He can't help but stumble.
