He loops one leg around him and holds him close, placing a hand on his cheek. He moans, raising his chin, crying out each time he drives into him.

He tries to hold back, but he knows that he's close.

"Here?" he asks cheekily, slowing his thrusts to an aching pace. He drags himself out of him and then snaps his hips back into him, driving in deep and hard each time. "Or like this...?"

He digs his fingers into him and fucks at a more punishing pace, knowing that it's likely Aaron's preferred speed.

Aaron reaches up and grabs his hair, right by the nape of his neck, whimpering as he raises his hips up to meet him.

"Oh god. You're a fucking sadist."

"Maybe just a little," he gasps, smiling a little viciously as he takes and takes and takes. "Or maybe I'm just obsessed with you. I love you, I love you. I'm going to make you come."

He groans. "I don't - " There's another moan. "I don't have anything fucking left," he cries out, shuddering.

"Yes, you do." He leans down and bites at his throat, pushing his qi into him, cycling it through his body. "You can feel it now, can't you? I'm giving you a piece of me. I'd give it all to you, Aaron."

He sucks in a breath, revived. Renewed. "Goddamn," he moans. "You're going to kill me." But he raises up to meet him, kissing him.

"You'll die in ecstasy." And then Huaisang would quickly follow, because he doesn't want to live without him.

He kisses along his shoulder. Gods. He's going to fill him up -- he can't hold back. He spills inside of him with a low hiss.

He finishes at the same time, moaning deeply, his heels digging into the ground. "Ah, fuck you," he breathes. "I love you."

He feels the qi circulating through Aaron’s body surprisingly push back into him. He gasps softly and pulls away from him with a little shudder.

“Aaron,” he says softly. He reaches for him pulls him into his arms.

Panting, he leans against him, then pulls away, trying to get back to their bed. "God, I might just die here," he laughs.

Huaisang follows, still marveling over the fact that Aaron had somehow pushed the qi back to him. He'll have to pay a visit to the Lan library tomorrow while Aaron enjoys his surprise, see what he can make of this.

He gently lowers him into the bed and fetches a cloth to tenderly clean all his reddened skin and love bites.

Aaron has no idea what he's done, only that he's exhausted in all ways that he can be. By the time that Huaisang has finished cleaning him, he's asleep, the marks healing themselves remarkably quickly.

Huaisang watches, marveling as each wound seems to slowly disappear in the dim light of the lanterns. Incredible. Has anything like this happened before...?

He tucks himself against him and tries to fall asleep, though his mind takes a while to be still. Eventually he does drift off, exhaustion finally taking over.

He sleeps soundly, turning over to hold him in the night.

The next morning Nie Huaisang rises early. He bathes and dresses and has a light breakfast, then sits to go through his correspondence and take care of a few messages from the Impure Realm.

Aaron's surprise will be meeting them soon in the healers' pavilion, and Huaisang is a little anxious about how the man he loves will react.

Aaron sleeps in, finally getting out of bed feeling - well, good. There's no soreness, no ache. He would have expected it from the evening they had. He just gives Huaisang a kiss before he starts into breakfast.

"What problems are you solving today?"

Huaisang watches Aaron as he joins him for the day, trying not to make it too obvious that he's very, very interested in the way he moves around the room. He smiles into the kiss and then reaches across the table to pour him a cup of tea.

"Financial issues back home, and some small clan disputes to the eat."

"Spending all your money on pretty paints?" he teases, sitting down and picking up his cup. "You're watching me today. Why?"

“No, silk fans this time.”

He smiles softly, all adoration. “Because I adore you. You’ll have to get ready soon, your surprise is expecting you this morning.”

Aaron is clearly suspicious, but he trusts him enough to think its just Huaisang being ridiculous.

"Alright, alright."

He changes into dark blue robes more appropriate for going out.

Oh, those dark blue robes. Nie Huaisang watched him a little dreamily and then pops up to his feet and pulls Aaron in for a little kiss.

“You look perfect. Let’s go, the healers’ pavilion is across Cloud Recesses.”

He grabs his arm with a grin and eagerly pulls him in that general direction.
