He tucks himself against him and tries to fall asleep, though his mind takes a while to be still. Eventually he does drift off, exhaustion finally taking over.

He sleeps soundly, turning over to hold him in the night.

The next morning Nie Huaisang rises early. He bathes and dresses and has a light breakfast, then sits to go through his correspondence and take care of a few messages from the Impure Realm.

Aaron's surprise will be meeting them soon in the healers' pavilion, and Huaisang is a little anxious about how the man he loves will react.

Aaron sleeps in, finally getting out of bed feeling - well, good. There's no soreness, no ache. He would have expected it from the evening they had. He just gives Huaisang a kiss before he starts into breakfast.

"What problems are you solving today?"

Huaisang watches Aaron as he joins him for the day, trying not to make it too obvious that he's very, very interested in the way he moves around the room. He smiles into the kiss and then reaches across the table to pour him a cup of tea.

"Financial issues back home, and some small clan disputes to the eat."
