Aaron/Huaisang

It's nightfall by the time Aaron finally sees this "Impure Realm" that they took him to. He's hungry. He's filthy. He's thirsty. And there's nothing around him that's familiar. He has cigarettes in the pocket of his jeans and nothing else of his own. No note. No information.

Only the vaguely unsettling feeling that he's been deposited somewhere...wrong.

These people look like Huaisang. The robes, the way they move...it's familiar enough that, before they could unsheath their swords, he's throwing his hands out, asking for Nie Huaisang to their complete bafflement. But they loaded him up and took him. Goddamn.

Hopefully they sent someone ahead.

Nie Huaisang slips his fan into his sleeve and reaches for Aaron’s hand, pressing a kiss to his fingers with a kind smile. He nods and leads the way, starting the half a day’s walk back to the Impure Realm.

Aaron is quieter this second time, tired and a little thoughtful.

When they arrive, he's practically leaning against him. This is the most walking he's done in a long time.

Huaisang, the quietly stronger of the two of them, holds Aaron up and guides him into the large, sprawling castles that make up the Impure Realm. He greets his followers quietly, asking that food be sent to his room and a bath drawn.

He brings Aaron right to his chambers.

Aaron collapses right onto his bed, not even bothering to undress first. It seems impossible to do, considering how tired he is. The last two days have caught up to him, leaving him utterly exhausted in the aftermath.

Fortunately for Aaron, Huaisang is perfectly happy to take care of him. He lets him rest while he bathes, lighting a bit of incense and the lanterns before sitting down beside him on the bed with a bowl of dumplings in hand.

"You need to eat something. Open up."

Aaron reluctantly sits up. "Shit, did I fall asleep?"

The last thing he remembers is being led inside the room and he doesn't know what to think about that. He hasn't been this exhausted in a long time.

Huaisang smiles gently, reaching out to brush Aaron's hair from his eyes. "I didn't let you sleep too long. Just enough to take a bath."

He blinks at him. "You don't have to take care of me," he drawls. "I can take care of myself." But he eyes that food hungrily.

"It isn't about whether you can or can't, I want to." But it isn't a question that Aaron can take care of himself. Huaisang just wants to spoil him.

He holds out the bowl and a spoon, assuming Aaron's too tired for chopsticks.

A spoon. He reaches for both of them and finally starts to eat, grumbling a little as he does so.

"Is it late? Do we have to do shit before we can go to sleep?" Because, even though he woke up, he's already ready to go back.

"Nothing except eating and changing for bed," he tells him, sitting back against his headboard. "I brought you some clothes."

"Good, because I'd probably drown in the fucking bathtub."

He finishes the soup and sets it aside.

He takes the bowl and spoon from him and sets it aside. "That wouldn't do at all," he smiles, returning to the bed and sitting back down. He holds out his arms.

"Thought you got my clothes," he laughs.

"You could at least let me cuddle you," he frowns petulantly. "I'll help you dress after."

"You're cute when you're mad," he says and leans forward to kiss him. "Come and cuddle me then."

Success! Huaisang wraps his arms around Aaron and pulls him down onto the bed with him, pressing very chaste kisses into his hair.

Aaron laughs at that, happily falling into his arms. "I'm too tired for your nonsense," he mutters.

"Then sleep so you can ignore my nonsense." He cuddles against him, just wanting to hold him tightly until Aaron either pushes him off to get change or falls asleep. Either would be fine.

He does try to push him off first, not wanting to sleep any longer in the clothes he had traveled in. And Huaisang had taken the effort to give him more, he's going to take it.

"Get off me."

He can tell when the playing has ceased with Aaron. He pulls his arms back and sits up, smiling as he goes to fetch those robes he'd fetched for him.

"Here." He pats the silk and goes to look through his stash of wine, giving Aaron privacy if it's needed.

Every time Huaisang reads him so well, every time he responds appropriately, Aaron falls a little more for him. He follows him to the wine and pulls him into a kiss, a silent show of gratitude.

He's surprised by the affection, as he was the last time Aaron woke him to fuck. But he's grateful too, and kisses him back gently in return.

"Go get changed," he says softly, bumping their foreheads together sweetly.

"Yeah, alright."

He doesn't mind changing in front of him now and he slips into the silken robes with a laugh.

"Fuck me...I want to take these with me when we go back."

He finds the bottle of wine he'd been searching for and pours himself a cup, slyly eying Aaron over his shoulder as he changes. "We should take a whole wardrobe."
