Aaron/Huaisang

It's nightfall by the time Aaron finally sees this "Impure Realm" that they took him to. He's hungry. He's filthy. He's thirsty. And there's nothing around him that's familiar. He has cigarettes in the pocket of his jeans and nothing else of his own. No note. No information.

Only the vaguely unsettling feeling that he's been deposited somewhere...wrong.

These people look like Huaisang. The robes, the way they move...it's familiar enough that, before they could unsheath their swords, he's throwing his hands out, asking for Nie Huaisang to their complete bafflement. But they loaded him up and took him. Goddamn.

Hopefully they sent someone ahead.

Huaisang takes a moment to massage out the coils of braids, unweaving them in preparation for a nice bath. "Nie family tradition," he tells him quietly.

Not the sect tradition, but his father's and mother's and his brother's tradition. If he ever had a child, they'd wear the braids as well.

"I like 'em," he says softly. "They suit you."

He steps into the water and sinks down, waiting for Huaisang to join him.

Huaisang takes a long, appreciative look at Aaron before he steps into the tub with him, sighing softly as he lowers himself into the hot water.

"It took me a long while to get the braiding right. My brother used to do them for me."

"Yeah?"

He wraps his arms around him, pulling him against his chest. "You did a good job." He gently rests his chin on Huaisang's shoulder, closing his eyes.

Oh. It's been such a long time since he's been held. All that time spent in brothels or those one night stands at cultivation conferences, all of the sex and none of the intimacy. Nothing as sweet and as lovely as this.

He lays his head onto his shoulder, his long hair floating in the water around them.

Aaron stays there for a while, closing his eyes, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. "You was gonna show me magic," he reminds him.

A kiss too. Huaisang melts slightly, sighing to himself before he turns around in the water and placing his hand to Aaron's chest. He closes his eyes and cycles his qi through his meridians, feeling it build and build until he's ready to unspool it and pass it into Aaron through his heart.

He doesn't have a golden core, but the effect should be a slow warmth running through his body, heightened senses, a spark behind his eyes.

Aaron lets out a breath, watching him with a little confusion. Then, he feels it. He startles for a moment, putting his hand to his chest, laughing. "What the fuck did you do to me?"

"Pushed a little of my qi into you," Huaisang hums, laying his head back down onto his chest. "Did it feel good?"

"Yeah," he laughs. "Yeah, real good."

He glances to the door and then wraps his arms around him again. "Do that again sometime."

Huaisang whines and kicks his feet a little, splashing the water around in the tub. "You've worn me out tonight! Maybe tomorrow, if I'm not too fatigued."

"I said sometime!" he mutters. "Don't want to wear you out."

He kisses along his shoulder and then to his neck. "Much rather suck your dick again, if I'm bein' honest."

He tilts his head with a groan, giving Aaron more access to his neck. "I didn't realize you were so insatiable. A man could get used to this."

"Eh, I like what I like," he says, squeezing him gently. He has never, in his life, been this intimate with anyone. He's not surprised to find himself so attached to him.

"Water's gettin' cold. I'm gettin' out."

Huaisang could just reheat the water, but he’ll let Aaron go with a soft smile. He needs to wash his hair anyway.

“Are you going to dress for bed?”

"With what clothes?" He asks, finding something that is probably a towel, using it to dry his hair.

He is, quite obviously, no longer shy in front of Huaisang.

"You could wear the shirt and trousers that go under the robes," he suggests, casually reaching for the rice water to pour over his hair.

But he hopes he doesn't dress. He stares with a half-smile, combing his fingers through his long hair.

He dries his hair and puts the towel back. "Don't really want to sleep in those. Guess I'm going without."

"Guess so," he smiles, reaching out of the bath for a comb. He untangles his hair carefully, looking at Aaron with dark eyes, before finally getting out of the bath and reaching for his robe.

Aaron rolls his eyes and sits on the bed again, watching the way he moves, the way his hair falls over his shoulders. "You gotta braid them again in the morning?"

Huaisang nods and sits down beside him on the bed. "It won't take me very long. I have to look presentable."

He reaches out to touch his hair, then threads his fingers through it. "So I can mess 'em up?"

“If that’s what you want,” he murmurs, pulling his fan out from his sleeve. Where he was actually carrying it will remain a ~mystery~.

Aaron makes his choice. He kisses him soundly, trying to pull him back on top of him. "This is what I want," he complains.

Huaisang easily fits himself against him, pressing hips against hips and pillowing Aaron’s head under his arms as he returns the kiss. His damp hair slips annoyingly over his shoulder, and he pushes it back with a soft huff.
