FV and Friends

Drifting off to sleep has never been easier. When your character wakes up, they enter into a beautiful, almost picturesque home. Everything is brightly lit with candles and different colored lights. The entire place smells like sugar cookies. Or maybe pine. Or maybe it's whatever your character finds homey. There are several rooms to this home, each with its own charms. A kitchen and dining room, with any ingredient known to man and a spread of already prepared foods on the table. A living room with a cozy fireplace and very inviting rug. Bedrooms with various types of furniture and all the privacy you could want. A lovely backyard that's cold, but there's a firepit to warm up with. Snow crunches underneath boots (or heels, we ain't picky) and there's the occasional glimpse of wildlife in the woods.

All characters will come with the knowledge that this is a dream. There are no consequences to their actions, save what happens in the dream. They are also not trapped. When they want to leave, they know that they can simply leave through the front door and wake up in their own time, in their own bed.

And sprinkled throughout the house are sprigs of mistletoe. Is it the dream that makes people want to get a little cuddlier underneath it? Or is it just the spirit of the moment?

Either way, it sure is a fun way to get to know each other!

The goose pauses in their scarfing down of the cake.

"Honk honk honk."

Trouble, yes. But I'm still traumatized by that whole thing with Dorian and Thomas, thank you very much.

Sarah is almost that cynical.

"Probably a bit of that too," she concedes wryly. "But, you know. Whatever it takes to get through the winter, or something like that."

James Fitzjames is in fine high spirits. Usually, to this day, parties give him a small stab of anxiety, but here he is blessedly free of that, and happy to have a good time.

"A normal holiday," he protests, though he happily takes the drink. "That's what I'm craving."

Matthew nods. There's a moment before he admits, "Honestly, I like this sort of Christmas better than what we have back in London. It can be...too much sometimes."

After years of solitude, wow is someone a bit sensitive to all the noise and fuss and hubub.

He turns around to look at both of them, giving them a small smile as he does so. "Happy Christmas, the two of you. It's lovely to see you again."

She'll take that as a yes, but a cautious yes.

"I'll leave another slice of cake on the floor under the fucking table, just for you for later."

[hesalumberjack]

"Not for us anyway," he says, handing over the bottle of lube now that it all seems settled. "Get yourself ready for me, and we'll have a little fun tonight."

He walks with her outside to the fire pit, where it's perfectly toasty despite the surrounding snow. He chooses a couple of adirondack chairs and hands her a glass of mulled wine as they sit.

"Lovely place, don't you think? Perfect for a calm little reunion."

He chuckles softly. "To see you all here? Agreed, it's all that I could have ever hoped for."

God. This magician.

"If we part again, at least we'll have this moment."

"You're impatient!" he laughs. But almost immediately, Hickey starts to strip off his clothes. Taking the lube, he squirts some into his hands, lubing up his fingers.

"Though really, if you're the one who wants to take me, why'd you give me the bottle?"

[kingsroads]

"None of that talk of parting," he gently chides. "I'd rather not think about it. I just want to think about us now, here, in the moment."

[hesalumberjack]

"Because you have to do some of the work," he tells him simply, . "You have no work ethic, it's time you learned some."

But he will throw Hickey a bone and help him out of his trousers, spreading Hickey's legs apart and holding him open as he kisses down his neck.

Crozier brings Jonathan's hand up to his lips and kisses his knuckles.

"Can you do any magic here? I'd assume so, mn?"

[friendsfordinner]

"You say 'no work ethic' like it's a bad thing," Hickey grins. "I'd say that I simply know where best to use my energy. And I'd say that most things don't deserve energy."

He starts to slick up his fingers as he points out, "You do, though."

[kingsroads]

"Obviously," scoffs the man who wasn't entirely sure if he could do magic until now.

"What do you want to see?"

He loves his undeserved confidence.

"I'd like you to make the fire dance."

[kingsroads]

"Of course," Strange nods. "But in return, I want you to cuddle close to me so we can watch it together."

[goingtobeunwell]

"There was never any other option, Jonathan."

He sits back a little to let the man work.

[hesalumberjack]

"You're absolutely right, I do."

He waits for Hickey to do a little of the work, though he doesn't bother keeping his hands off of him. He cups his prick and eases himself over him, very audibly creaking the old bedframe as he moves.

[kingsroads]

With a wave of his hand and a few muttered words, the fire starts to shift, growing and waning in a pattern akin to dancing. At the same time, Strange moves over so he can sit next to Crozier, resting his head against the man's shoulder as he turns his attention to the fire.

"Good?"

He smiles softly and leans his head against Jonathan's, fingers pushing through his wild hair. "Wonderous. An excellent trick, magician."

Hickey's hands move downwards as he starts to open himself up, grinning at Aadit all the while. When the bed creaks, he lets out a badly hidden snort of a laugh. "D'you think we'd be able to break the bedframe if we go fast enough?"

He kind of wants to try and break the bedframe.

[hesalumberjack]

Aadit leans down to kiss along his stomach, grinning softly to himself. "Oh, we should absolutely try," he laughs. "Get on your hands and knees and we can give it a try."

He doesn't have to ask Hickey twice. Smug little smile on his face, he happily shifts his position, radiating big excited energy all the while.
